Thomas Brodie-Sangster

This post is solely about Thomas! Well, I mean I have my own likes and dislikes about things and he is definitely at the top of my like list, no arguments about that. He is adorable in Love Actually! And good in Nowhere Boy and The Maze Runner too, as mentioned in the previous post! Also, I recently found out he is in Game of Thrones too! Well, I'm not much of a GOT fan but I have watched clips of him in it, I am sure he did good in that one too!

Seriously have to check this video out! I love how the video is put together and the meaning behind the song itself. I really love the song though, it is called 30 Minute Break - The Luka State.

The reason that I am writing regarding this is hey, we all know he is one talented actor! Have you seen him on The Baytown Outlaws? Where he is Rob, a disabled kid? I thought he did really well in that! Really convincing! Not saying that just because he's grown into one hell of a handsome man (yet, still manage to keep that cute young face of his), but it is true, he is really good!

Or have you seen him in The Death of A Superhero? Where he took the role of Donald who is a sick dying kid. Quite a good story line where he deals with his frustration of trying to deal with his illness. I usually try to avoid this kind of movie, because I just can't take the sadness, but I am just one curious person, so thinking that I can handle it, I watch them anyway. Sidetracking to The Fault In Our Stars, I bawled reading the book and obviously through the end of the actual movie too. See, I just can't take it. And how can you not remember A Walk To Remember? Yup, cried during that one too!

Or Some Dogs Bite where he played the part of Casey, a 14 year old boy searching for his father to live with as a family after his mother died. Along with his older brother (H) and his infant brother (Severino). This is a nice family movie. Casey just want the three of them to be together and not separated.

The Maze Runner

The title says it all. Again, I am a little behind time posting about this because I want to complete reading the whole series before deciding to write up. It is a good book. It kept me hooked, making it hard for me to decide whether I want to continue to read it or to sleep and continue the next day. It is really hard!

I just get so lost in the book, and throughout the whole book, I paid attention to one, and only one character! I will just jump in and say it right away. Newt. Yes, even before I know who is going to play the part of Newt, I fell in love with the character anyway. The main reason why I got all excited about the movie is because Dylan is in it. Well, we all know how much I freaking love Teen Wolf, and how much I adore Stiles, so that explains it all. I have watched it like 3 times and I still am not tired of it. I don’t know why, but Newt is just well, nice? I don’t know how else to put it. While reading the second book, The Scorch Trials, I am just relieved to know that Newt survived along with the other Gladers, even though some died. The third book, The Death Cure however broke my heart to bits, those who read, knows that some of them are not Immune to a virus called The Flare. I was crushed, and I was so into the book that I actually cried. Yup, I cried knowing the death of one of my favourite characters.

Alby - The Leader

Named after Albert Einstein, he is the leader of the Gladers and one of the first member sent to the glade. He did an absolutely good job guiding the Gladers. Getting stung by the griever and getting flashes of memory, but still, he knows he can trust Thomas. Sadly, he sacrificed himself to the grievers in order to save his friends. 

Newt-The Glue

Named after Isaac Newton, he was formerly a runner until he got injured. Well, those who read the book will know why and how it happened. I got so emotional towards the end of the third book because we all know what happened to Newt and I was so devastated, yes devastated when I found out that he had the flare, and he is not immune to it. Well, one request from him is to prevent his condition from getting worse was a request from Thomas. It is really heartbreaking. I know it is just a book, but I get affected when something happens to the character that I like.

Newt is being played by actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster. I had no idea at first that he was this little cute guy from Love Actually. I watched that twice and had to watch it the third time to see it for myself. Also, if you have yet to watch Nowhere Boys, you have to. It is a good movie! I mean look at him, that smile and all.

Gally

Named after Galileo, he just does not trust Thomas from the start, also being the villain. I find it a bit weird for Will to play the role of Gally just because he is just so mean and I picture someone with an angry face? Okay, maybe his face is fierce-looking but I don’t know, I just can’t picture Will to be that way, because have you seen We’re the Millers? He is funny in that and that movie is hilarious! Will did a great job at it and it is hard to stay in tune with him being the fierce looking tough guy. Nevertheless, he did a great job at it and while the book makes some of us angry towards him, in the movie however, they tried to tone him down. I wish they hadn't though. I would love to see Gally as what he is in the book. But we all know that they have to change it up a bit to suit the movie.

Thomas

The creator of the Maze named after Thomas Edison. He also got a spot as a runner after helping Alby and Minho out of the maze alive, killing a griever too. Even though he broke one of the most important rule which is not to enter the maze unless you're a runner, he managed to get out of it alive and live to tell how the griever looks like. He also helps them to figure a way out of the maze.

Theresa

Along with Thomas, she is also the creator of the maze. Said to be named after Mother Theresa. And one of the last one to be sent to the Glade, being the only girl to be there. In the second and third book, she srt of betrayed Thomas a bit in order to save him and the others. She did what she had to do to survive. Although Thomas did not know that, she did all of those things in order for them to stay alive.

Chuck

Named after Charles Darwin the youngest Glader who befriended Thomas. He died trying to save Thomas from getting killed by Gally. Spoiler alert, Gally was being controlled by the creator to kill Thomas and Chuck was controlled to jump in to save Thomas. Character played by Blake Cooper, yes I teared up when he was killed. It's just so sad! 

Minho - Runner/The Leader

Minho is the runner for the maze. He is the one going into the maze before sundown to figure a way out, mapping each and every corner of the maze mapping a way out from the maze. He studied every movement and patterns as the maze keep changing.

And not forgetting the other gladers (There are many more of them, I know) ...

I really like the movie, and I cannot wait for the next one to come out. Really looking forward to what comes in the next movie.

Once Upon A Time

I don't know about you, sometimes apart from the busy and hectic days that I have to go through (Not busy, just the long hours probably?), I do need time to relax myself. I need to spend some time to unwind, and I do that with television shows. Sometimes, I do need to unleash the fairy tale in me. I am a big fan of fairy tales growing up, even now, and therefore I get attached to this show so easily. My favourite is of course, Peter Pan. Neverland, not having to grow up, sounds pretty fun to me. There is a twist here and there and that is what makes the show more interesting!

Once Upon a Time revolves around different fairy tales in one show, and that is what is so interesting! I really love how the story line goes. Season 1 involves a curse by the Evil Queen which took them all from the Enchanted Forest to Storybrooke, along with them forgetting their memories and their actual names. The curse is broken by the saviour, Emma Swan, who is the daughter of Charming and Snow, who is also the actual mother to Henry. However, magic is also brought back by Rumpelstiltskin. 

There is Charming and Snow, and no matter what the circumstances are, they will always find their way to each other. Their love for each other is so strong that one heart can beat for two. And they just had a baby boy! In the show, and in real life too! They are indeed true to Charming and Snow!

The Evil Queen known as Regina, who is not so evil as the time goes by, or is still evil, I cannot really decide for now. She is full of vengeance and does not stop until she gets what she wants. However, she did help save Marians' life too! And we all know she only wants her happy ending, besides having Henry. She is trying to be a better self for Henry.

I love this edit. Seriously, it sums up the relationship between Rumpel and Belle! She only see the good in him and she believes that he can change himself for the better no matter how much he doubts himself! Sometimes, we all know that it is hard for Rumpel to be good and do good, though he is trying, we know he is still as manipulative as his dad. Something he got in common with his dad is that he chose magic over his son. I am just glad that he will do anything to find his son, Baelfire, and is trying to redeem himself to try to be a better father to him.

Season 2 is where it starts to get more interesting as the curse is broken, and magic is brought back. This is where we get to see the Evil Queen's mother, Cora and her story, Baelfire and Lacey and why Lacey is who she is and Owen, know as Greg now, making an appearance years after to find his missing dad and made a promise to come back to Storybrooke to find his dad. There are more characters along the way in Season and if I were to go on, this will be a very, very long post, so you will have to watch it to find out who will be be making an appearance.

However, in this show itself, Pan is not as good as you think he is. He is cunning and manipulative. What surprised me is that I was trying to guess who Pan really is and I know he might somehow be related to the dark one, Rumpelstiltskin. What I did not see coming is that Pan is actually his dad, which is really sad because he chose youth over his son. I guess to some it is pretty obvious who Pan might be, but I was not smart enough. Haha.. I mean how can that be? I fell for the cute look that Pan has got on, not knowing he is not as nice as he looks. His story will only begin towards the end of Season 2 and will carry on forward to Season 3.

Hook however, is a better pirate I must say. Or at least he is trying to be a better pirate. He is definitely charming in his own ways! Haha. Not gonna lie, I adore his relationship with Emma. How he took part in saving Emma's life and Emma, saving his. He is trying to be a better man, and I must say, as of now, I can see some good in him. I mean, just look at him and his eyes, and smile. And remember the time when he got jealous of his past self and punches himself in the face?

In Season 3, the main characters travel to Neverland to save Henry from of course, Peter Pan. And somehow he cast a curse and there is more saving to do. Especially Henry as his and Pan's body switched while trying to get Pan into the Box. In this season, you will expect to see characters from the Wizard of Oz, Ariel, Medusa and Rapunzel. Emma also got a chance to travel back in time to the Enchanted Forest together with Hook. Regina saved them from the curse that was brought upon by Charming and Snow, as she is trying to defeat her own sister, the wicked witch from the west.

So far, Season 4 has just started and I am looking forward for more episodes to come! Because get this, Frozen has come to Storybrooke. There will be more exciting characters to come and I just can't wait for it!
