No Ordinary Family
Source
I loved this show. I remember being so sad when I found out that this show will not be renewed for a new season. It was getting so good, and then Bam! The bad news came.
No Ordinary Family centers a family namely the Powells, Jim (
Michael Chiklis), Stephanie (
Julie Benz), Daphne (
Kay Panabaker) and JJ (
Jimmy Bennett). They gained special powers after their plane crashes in the Amazon, Brazil.
Jim, the dad works with the police as a sketch artist, has super strength and can leap over tall buildings. Stephanie, the mum, who is a scientist working at Global Tech, has super speed and is able to heal. Kinda like The Flash. Daphne, the eldest daughter, has the ability to view and erase memories of others. JJ, the youngest, also a genius, he is able to speed-read and take in a lot of information, but will only last for a certain time frame.
Working with Stephanie is Katie Andrews(
Autumn Reeser), who is Stephanie's personal assistant at Global Tech. Yes, she is aware of the Powells' superpowers and I really like her character. She also started dating the Watcher, known as Will/Joshua(
Josh Stewart). Katie somehow has telekinetic powers, due to being pregnant with Will's child. What I also love is the fact that Will, tries to change for the better for Katie and the baby. Joshua is initially a super villain working with Dr Dayton King(
Stephen Collins), who is also his adoptive father. Will does have superpowers, but he requires it to be injected regularly to maintain them. The injections are also what keeps him alive. So yes, I do ship Will and Katie so much!
So what is the deal with Dr King? He is actually in love with Stephanie. What he really wants is JJ's powers. And he uses JJ for some sort of formula. For a serum to heal himself from cancer. But of course, for villains, things do not always go their way.
And in the end of the last episode, we have Jim's best friend, George (
Romany Malco), who knows of the Powells' superpowers and is somehow very positive about this whole thing, to the extend of helping them out whenever needed. Also, the cool thing is, he has a lair! And also, we will never find out what happens to George when the plane he was in crashed (together with about 80 prisoners in). It is believed that he will also develop superpowers like the rest of the prisoners in the plane. So yeah, we will never know what powers George might have.
So I do still feel that this show should be renewed for a new season, but I guess not many people enjoys this show as much as I did. If only they have superpowers in real life to survive this show.
The Secret Circle
Yup, I still feel sad that this show did not make it to Season 2. I thought it was a pretty good show though! It is a supernatural drama based on the book written by L. J. Smith. It is being said that this show was cancelled due to the cost and location.
This show is centers Cassie Blake (
Britt Robertson) who moves to Chance Harbor to live with her grandmother after her mothers' death. So, five of her classmates, Adam Conant (
Thomas Dekker), Diana Meade (
Shelley Hennig), Faye Chamberlain (
Phoebe Tonkin), Melissa Glaser (
Jessica parker Kennedy) and Nick Armstrong (
Louis Hunter) revealed to Cassie that she is the final member of their coven and they need her to bind the circle so that they have better control of their powers. In the beginning, she refuses to believe that she is a witch. She found a book left by her mother, only then, she begins to accept it. Of course her mother is protecting her from the dark by not telling her of her gift. Of course with witches, there are good and dark ones too and by binding the circle, their powers seem to attract the dark forces and how they try to fix things is interesting to watch.
The show ended too soon and we will never find out what happens to John Blackwell (Cassie's dad) and the crystal skull, which is presume to fight off the witch hunters. I do not trust John, ever. I mean he is Cassie's dad sure, but he is after all descended from a line of dark witches. So, my trust in him is just not there.
Star Crossed

We all know how much I love Star-Crossed and how I felt when this show was cancelled. I have write up a post on this previously, so I shall not bore you again with the details. The emotions are slowly creeping in now. So yeah, the thought of never knowing what will happen to them after the Suvek has been activated is a bit sad. What about Taylor though! I'm all for the drama of forbidden love, in this case, an alien falling in love with a human? Yes please! The harder the love is and the more the people does not approve, the more interesting it is, don't you think so? Ohh well, I guess we'll never know. So it is time to let it go.
The Tomorrow People
Source
No words to be said other than the same emotions being felt when it was cancelled.
This show is about a group of young people who has psionic abilities, namely the three T's. Telepathy, Teleportation, and Telekinesis. It is said that there is a fourth T, which is Temporal Manipulation of which the most powerful will possess. They call themselves The Tomorrow People. Stephen Jameson (
Robbie Amell), whose father disappeared for years, discovers that he has these abilities and soon joins the rest of The Tomorrow People. Cara Coburn (
Peyton List), John Young (
Luke Mitchell) and Russell Kwon (
Aaron Yoo).
Of course there will be a group of people who feels unhappy and threatened regarding these abilities that they have. The Tomorrow People have been hiding underground from an organisation, Ultra. Ultra has been neutralising and killing the Tomorrow People. The twist is that Stephen is working with Ultra, under his uncle, Jedekiah (
Mark Pelligrino). The Tomorrow People are not known to everyone and remain underground most of their time for safety.
Because in the final episode, the time statsis apparatus is active and unfortunately, they did not manage to stop the machine. And on top of that, Stephen lost his father as well. Cara was shot and Stephen finds that he is able to reverse time and save Cara. Unfortunately, we will not be able to find out what John's fate might be as he agreed to work with Jedekiah to use Roger's (
Jeffrey Pierce) DNA to restore his abilities. It comes with a price, John will have no memory of his friends. And his next step, is to recruit Cara.
Jane By Design
Source
Jane Quimby (
Erica Dasher), a high school student is juggling two lives. One as a high school student, and the other is working at her dream job, alongside a fashion designer, Gray Chandler Murray (
Andie MacDowell). It is very hard to keep two lives up, but Jane can somehow pull it off. Go Jane!
Sadly however, we will never find out what happens to Jane after the school play ended and her bumping into Gray herself. I mean, how will she even begin to explain that she is in high school and is not even close to being an adult. Eli (
Bryan Dechart) is there too, and as much as I like him and Jane together, Billy (
Nick Roux) is the guy that she should really be with. They are best friends and clearly like each other!. They are just too occupied to tell each other of their feelings. It is always about the timing being wrong? Ohh well!
Harpers Island

This show is not what I would expect to like. However, I did like watching it. It is a bit too gory for me, with all the killing and all, I remember being so scared while watching it, but a part of me wants to know what will happen to them. This show is pretty intense.
Of course this show takes place on an Island. A group of friends getting together for a wedding celebration. The twist is that there has been a mass murder years ago on that island itself by a person named John Wakefield. John is supposedly killed by the Island sheriff, Charlie Mills. His wife was killed by John and well, he has a daughter, Abby whom he sent away. So, Abby knowing what happened there, have her doubts and fear of returning to that island. I guess anything for her best friend right? It was a wrong choice that she made to return to that island, because the killings obviously starts again. And yes, in every episode, people are killed off.
I don't know why I felt sad when this show ended, I guess the murder mystery thing is what keeps people interested. It keeps you thinking and guessing on who the killer is.
As of now, these are the shows that I could think of that I feel deserves to be renewed for a new season. However, there are of course other shows that we can follow up with. It has been fun watching all these shows too!
I am still waiting for the new season of Teen Wolf! Yeah, getting kinda impatient because I'm just excited for it.
Till then,
XOXO
