Rainy days, Birthday, cheers to long leave and back to work/Christmas !

The weather recently has not been that well! While everywhere else(well, not everywhere, but most countries) is preparing for winter, here it is raining cold! Yes, I'm feeling a bit unwell, my body is rather heaty lately no matter how I drink lots of water and having to go to the bathroom every now and then. It annoys me so much as tongue is burning, I think due to ulcers, hope it goes away in a few days!

Christmas sales are here and I just wanna grab everything and anything! Ahhh! I just want all of it! This is bad. Really bad! But I can't help it, suddenly everything just seem so you know, cheaper than normal. Haha..

So i was on facebook and stumbled on a couple who just got nikah yesterday and I was thinking to myself how time really flies! He's 23 years old, such an ideal age, and I'm 22, so, when is my turn again? Lol, okay let's not get carried away here.

Wow, and in 2 weeks time it's going to be a brand new year with, with resolutions that are probably never fulfilled. Haha.. Well, for me at least. So let's recap on what I did this week. My family and I went cycling on Monday and after that in the evening, we went to Bali Thai for my birthday dinner. Thank you mum and dad and my siblings for being there. Hehe I had a wonderful day. 

On my actual birthday I spent time with my wonderful boyfriend! I had such an amazing time with him! Went to RWS and spend the day there and of course to S.E.A and it was amazing! Yes, I actually did get excited for all the fishes there. It's very exciting!

On Thursday, I went to River Safari with my family, it was fun but not as amazing as being in the Zoo? Well, that's what I think at least. The boat ride was okay, but the queuing part and waiting for it I find was not really worth the wait. Nevertheless the rest was nice. And the stingrays, oh the stingrays are just the cutest thing ever!!! How they actually swim! It is so cute! It's like they are flying and some are just like jelly the way they wobble their way through the water. So by the end of everything we were so tired! I just wish I can just fly home! 

On Friday was a stay home Friday. I'm not feeling too well yet again, don't know what is up with my immune system. Ohh wells, rest day for me. As on Saturday the usual plan on going to the boyfriend place and Sunday as well to celebrate my belated birthday! I had a great time! We spent time at Manhattan Fish Market to celebrate. Very thankful with the family that I have and of course my future family as well. Hehe, I got a lot of gifts from them.

  

 Thank you so much for all the Birthday Wishes and the presents, I feel so loved and of course thank you to the boyfriend once again for the most exciting present of all! 

He actually bought all 3 sets but I only brought this home first. Hehe thank you baby!

Christmas i finally here and ending, having to go back to work is just soooo not awesome, but ohh wells, work is always never fun. We had a gift exchange on 24/12/13 and it was nice! Lots of chocolates and cake and of course received gifts from our secret Santa. hehehe! I left the present at the bf place as I had too many things to bring home yesterday. His mum gave a fish tank and I was excited about it, finally a tank for new small fishes! Hurray!

Of Bad break-up to Engagement ( Not Mine Obviosly :( )

So, this video above has actually inspired me a lot. We all go through this stage once in our lives. For those who had a good relationship, Alhamdulillah. For some of us, we're not as lucky. Yes, I have been in a bad relationship. And I kept going back again and again to that same relationship back then, which is well, not smart. 

He broke up with me thrice and you know little me, accepted him back few days later when he said  that he wanted me back and all those stupid sweet words that I fell for. So in 2010, I decided to tell myself, enough is enough, I can't keep living like this! So I just started to act so cold towards him, saying mean things, even called him a coward once(Sorry, not sorry?) for breaking up with me simply over a text message. And basically ignoring me like i didn't even exist before our break-up, and asking me to go home and rode off his bike leaving me there when I dropped by to sort things out. What kind of a person does that to you? Simply not the one who loves you. And maybe, I admit I was desperate and dropping by to see him was a bit too much? I didn't know what I was thinking then. Oops? Therefore it's time for me to break that cycle, I didn't want to get hurt again.

So during that bad break-up, I was grateful that my back then friend and now boyfriend was there for me every step of the way. He helped me get better, he helped me improve on my emotions, he helped me get back up on my feet and most of all, helped me move on. And in 2011 he finally asked me to be his girlfriend. It was the most amazing thing that happened! I still remember clearly how he asked me. Hehe, he made me the most happiest girl! 

I mean yes, in a relationship there's not always happy moments, there has to be sad or bad moments too, to balance things out. It's how you overcome that matter and work things out matters most here. And yes, he hasn't really drag the matter for days and leave me hanging for days, usually he just settles it first. Although there are days I just feel emotional, I mean I didn't mean to drag it for days but you know being a girl sometimes confuses me too. Haha, okay, so maybe that's just an excuse to cover up the fact that I'm a sensitive person. 

So, to sum things up, as the video says, you need to know when to stop accepting and getting yourself hurt. Step up, let go and try to move on. 

On a brighter note, I went to my Best friends' engagement on 7.12.13, it was absolutely pretty! She looks beautiful and the most happiest! Well, who wouldn't be right? Lol! So beautiful! Did I mention beautiful?Because it really is! Haha. We spent a bit of time with Nad, have a chat, admiring the ring, the gifts and off me and Liyana go to Causeway Point to walk for a bit. And we decided to just sit at Coffee Bean and well just talk because our feet were tired and wants to rest. Heheh! Bought Red Velvet Iced Cocoa! It was amazingggg! Hahaha!

Well, that just sums up my weekends, cause I'll be doing nothing on Sunday except laze at home, eating cereal in bed(Fruity Pebbles are awesome!). Yes, that's how lazy I am!

Where does the time go to?

So, I was suppose to blog on every Sunday. But, time does not wait for me apparently. Ohh wells!

       The other day I met my friends to hang out. We went to Gardens by the bay to eat satay there. It was called Satay by the bay. No idea the place existed but well, it was such a nice and pretty quiet place. So my friend Yani, decided to bring her boyfriend along as we were dying to meet him, it was funny actually. He was nice and such a gentleman to my friend. I can see that she is happy with him, and that made me smile. It was nice meeting up with the 'Antonios' as what we like to call our self. That was actually an inside joke for this, as we were taking about someone dating a guy named Antonio(whoever it may be), we decided to call each other by that name and somehow to us, it was pretty funny. So, that name somehow stuck to us. Such fun we had. I'm missing them terribly now. :(

And Yani is in London right now having fun in winter (which sounds so cold and funnn!), whereas here, we have rain. It has been constantly pouring. Zzzzz! So, it's pretty much a sleepy weather?  How I wish I can just stay home in bed with my PJ's and blanket on. Oh how nice that would be!

Moving on, my weekends has been kinda busy. Therefore the lack of blogging. I went out mostly, during weekends. It was my brothers' birthday and yes, we went out to celebrate his birthday. And then went out again the next week together with my dad to eat at Simpang Bedok to officially celebrate his birthday. Belated, but at least my dad is able to join in. He was working on my brothers' birthday. And yesterday, went out with love's mum to Arab street to buy some things for the engagement. So, we went into this shop that sells fake mini flowers, so I had this idea of making a flower crown(I don't have the picture of it now). It turned out okay. I think the shop is called Minions?

 

So, my birthday present came in early this year. Haziq decided to start giving me presents in October. How sweet of him. I really feel like a princess. Therefore I needed the crown. Okay, don't get overboard here, Irah. So here are some of the things that I got. 

The first 4 items is what my boyfriend got me. However, the Kate Spade bag is actually in pink, couldn't really find the one in pink and I am too lazy to snap a picture of it. :/ apart from that he actually got me tickets to go to the Sea Aquarium at RWS. That is not all, he also gave me $200 to spend so I bought 2 circle skirts, and went to Sephora,limiting myself to two things. Soap and Glory's Glad Hair Day Shampoo and Too Faced eyeshadow Primer. Well, pretty pricey for such small items. But no regrets, as they are amazing products!

The last two bottom presents are from my little sister and my mum! Cute little gift-sets! They are so cute and they smell amazing! I am really very thankful for everything. December is finally here and I am so very excited! Hehe, Christmas sales are here and all the discounts and gift-sets are pretty much the thing that I love! And of course, there goes my money as well!

Of Skating, Nandos, Ender's Game and almost losing my phone.

Okay well, that is actually a lengthy heading, but whatever. So on Saturday, I made plans with Huda and Kak Aisyah for ice skating over at JCube. Let me tell you, it was not fun having to travel to the other end by yourself and you forgot to bring your earpiece. That's me, forever and always forgetting things.

Well, managed to reach exactly on time at Jurong East Station, such a bore in a train. But aside the boring part, the ice skating was super fun! Yes yes, it was my first time to skate and yes, i was excited plus so scared and the most nervous. But after 3 rounds(yeah, yeah it took me 3 whole rounds), I started to gain a bit of confidence to let go of the railing. It was so much fun I keep telling myself, if those small kids can get away with just skating freely, I can too. Well not at that particular moment though, Cause we only had an hour and a half but it's okay, I managed to try something I haven't done. So I can check that off my bucket list. If I ever have one.

After the fun skating, of course, lunch. We were getting so hungry. So to Nandos we go! My first experience of Nandos was at Tampines Mall, and let me tell you, I wasn't really liking it. I don't know why though it was just horrible the chicken was hard and it tastes funny. But then I told myself, let's just give it a second go. It wouldn't be that bad right? True enough, I was a very satisfied customer. The food was awesome, the chicken was great, and it was such a pleasant lunch.

After all of that we went back to our second home, it's actually our boyfriend's home. Did I mention that the girls I went out with are my boyfriend's brothers' girlfriend? Haha, probably not. Anyways, yeah we went to their place and waited for their mom to come back home from the fish farm. She bought more fishes for the fish tank! There are like 2 big tanks and a small tank of fishes at their place and yes it is so nice to stare at those fishes whenever you need a break from something. Lol, they are very amusing to look at.
Whilst waiting for the boyfriend to come back home, we did a little something for the engagement to pass some time. It was nice, and yes, I am still very excited to put together things. Lol, while doing that, The Hobbit was playing on TV and it was a nice movie! I thought I wouldn't like it as I don't normally watch these kind of movies, but it was actually a pretty nice movie.

Ender's Game, I have to say, was such a nice movie to watch, although I got a little agitated towards the end, I actually enjoyed the movie. Probably cause I watched a midnight show. It was at 12.30 and ended about 2++ and yes, I was so very sleepy! I tend to get annoyed when I don't get sleep. As you can tell, I'm the kind of person that sleeps early. After all of that, halfway through leaving the theatre, I realised that I lost my phone, I panicked! Haziq had to run back and luckily it was still on the seat, and luckily no one took my phone. Such carelessnes I was so angry at myself. But ohh wells, at least I still have my phone now! I would actually cry if I would have lost it.

To sum up the day, I pretty much had a pleasant day, hope you all too had a nice day.

A New Start

It has been a while since i last blogged. As I am sat in my room, I reflected on the things that happened this year. As most of you may know 2013 is coming to an end. A new year is coming to us very very soon.

I wonder what I have achieved this year. Apart from having to turn a year older soon, I'm not sure what else is there.

I have all these ideas to put to words but I really don't know where to start. I probably should set my feelings and thoughts right first before jumping in ey.

So, I will be pretty busy preparing and helping out for my boyfriend's brothers' engagement. I am very excited about this. I can't wait to start! It is very exciting, really. Early this year was his eldest brothers' engagement and yes it was all so pretty with all the gifts on the tray which we call 'gubahan/dulang'. Everybody keeps asking me when's my turn. Well, it will have to wait a while more as the prince is still serving national service. And when everything settles down. So about 8 months more to go. I am so happy you don't even know!
