It has been a great start to 2014 I must say, alhamdulillah.
And then there is the Chinese New Year period coming. Yes, I am not so much excited about it, although I should be. Long weekend and what not. Work has been intense and it's gonna be like that for next week as well. I don't know what it is, I try to give my all in work but somehow there's just something lacking. I don't really understand how people want us to be? Like for example I have to call people just to inform of the date and time somehow I'm the one getting scolded for no particular reason just for wanting to notify them of an appointment. I think it's the CNY stress getting to them. But then again, I should learn not to take things to heart. How can I not though? I greet them nicely and speak in a nice manner. Not even a thank you from those not so nice people. I'm the one saying thank you at the end of the calls. What is going on here. I think there must be more ungrateful people here. Like what happened to our courtesy and manners? Why are there so many grumpy people. Makes the world much more sadder to live in. Okay enough rantings, just move on and keep being happy and don't let it get to you. That's what I keep telling myself to do every single day. Don't get me wrong, I love my job most of the days, just some days, not loving them.
So, if it's not too late, here's wishing a Happy Chinese New Year to all my Chinese friends! Gong Xi Fa Cai! Hope you'll have a prosperous new year with health and wealth!
On the brighter side of things, I find that for me, things are starting to fall into place. Alhamdulillah, I am really thankful! On Thursday was my appointment with HDB. Thankfully, we got the unit that we wanted. So very happy about it! And that was also my mum's birthday. For the celebration of both my mummy and my brothers' birthday, we went to Swensens! It was so nice being together as a family! Especially on birthdays! We went to Changi Airport and there was this Spongebob Display, so I kinda got a bit over-excited about it.
Movie Catch-Up
So, the boyfriend and I have been watching a few movies and well, what is there to do going out on a date? Haha, yeah, we just love watching movies! And finally a Saturday that I can spend with him as we don't normally go out. So, going out on a Saturday feels amazing. I really miss going out and spending more time with him all to myself. But sadly, we have responsibilities to carry out. I have work, and he has his NS still. Which I might add, is finishing soon. Finally graduating from NS, in their case they call it ORD. Which means they are finally done serving 2 years of National Service. No, I shall not pressure him with what he has to do after that. Obviously he has to go straight to working. I am definitely proud of my man.
Okay, so I might have gotten sidetrack abit there. Anyways, I spent some time to catch-up on movies, and no, we did not watch all of it within a day, but over a period of time. I just wated to share what I thought about the movie.
I thought it was a pretty good film. Though the boyfriend did not agree with me on this one. I honestly really like the movie. I guess, not everyone will like this movie. I got bit confused in the beginning of the movie. 2 sides were actually after Frankenstein but overall, I find that it was a pretty decent movie.
Devils due
Alright, I must admit, I felt pretty stupid getting nervous at the start of watching this movie. I'm not trying to say that it's not scary, but I just felt that they could have done more for the movie? But anyway, it was an okay movie, not what I expected at all. And I didn't really find a picture to put it in due to blogging at night and I don't really wanna find scary pictures popping out and scaring myself in the dark.

There were some other movies that we watched, which I will definitely blog some other time. Moving on, I have been catching up on english dramas as well. One of my favourites has go to be Baby Daddy!
Baby Daddy
Okay, who else is seriously hooked on this show! Seriously, how can you not be? It has two of my favourite people in it. Jean -Luc and Chelsea Staub. So towards the Season I've been wanting for Ben and Riley to just get together already. I shall not comment any further, not wanting to spoil anything, but seriously, it's such and amazing drama to watch! Isn't Emma just adorable!
To end of this post, we celebrated kak Aisyah's birthday in January as well! We all gathered over at our boyfriend's place so that we could surprise her by being there. She really did not know we were there!
They actually surprised me with a cake as well as I did not have the cake cutting on my birthday itself. I was so shy! Haha, but it was a nice feeling. I could not be more thankful! Ahhhh!
Okay, I shall end it off for now.
Till then,
XOXO
